Anthony Williams is an experienced Business Developer, Trainer and Recruiter with 35 accumulated years’ experience. He served in the U S Navy for 21years as a Communications Technician, Recruiting Supervisor and Master Trainer. He has been a Human Resource Manager, training professional and Business developer for over 20 years. Anthony has served as a Senior Project Manager, Program Analyst and Contracting/Procurement Specialist in the Defense Contracting industry. His subject matter expertise lies in small business development, training, employee improvement/efficiency, building businesses infrastructure and developing content for training platforms. He has served as a consultant to many small businesses on implementing strategic growth and scaling for both the private and public sectors. Anthony has extensive experience in Government contracting and procurement which he uses to support small business growth and development. His primary background is working with small businesses, entrepreneurs and start ups. This background has provided him with the acumen, professional insight, system comprehension needed to train, grow and mentor small and medium sized businesses leading to sustainability, building capacity as well as profitability. He has volunteered his experience and job market analysis experience while working with Veteran organizations to assist in the transitioning and re-integration of returning Veterans in the Southern California area. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Small Business Commission representing the 5 th for District Supervisor Katherine Barger. He serves as Commander for the Greater Los Angeles Chapterof the National Association of Black Veterans (NABVets) a Congressional chartered non-profit that provides employment and housing referrals. The NABVets chapters ‘primary focus is on business development opportunities for Los Angeles based Veterans. He possesses a MBA with a concentration in Human Resources and Bachelors in Business Law. As a Navy recruiting professional for 12 years of the 21 year career he was credentialed as a Master Trainer and won several awards for personal production as well as leading his personnel to regional level awards recognition. As a business developer his expertise addresses the following disciplines: marketing analytics, derived metrics, scaling small businesses, contract analysis and vendor relations. He recently taught HR Management, organizational management and business communication at the Univ. of Laverne College of Business and Professional Management (CBPM). Anthony serves as a senior advisor to U S Vets a nonprofit service provider for at risk Veterans.
